This deck was constructed for a family in a northern Brisbane suburb and featured a great size (31m2) - it fits a 8 seater table - and a brand new stacker door opening up to 4.0 meters. See the way this deck construction project evolved, from early in construction to the finish product.

		The deck was constructed off the back of the house to expand the living area and to take advantage of our great climate.
		As construction continued the deck started to take shape with the outline starting to appear.
		With most of the floor complete the new work starts to look like a deck as we continue to build the new deck for this queenslander.
		Even with the decking in place there was still plenty of work to do to finish this new deck construction, with rails and roofing to be completed.
		The finished deck became a great extension to the living area of this house and added value and usability with the family looking forward to entertaining on their new deck.

This project included design and certification, site cut, pairing for the stirrups, posts, bearers, main floor joists, decking (kwilla), hand rails, roof and new stacker door.
